On November 16, 1994, 33 year old Marie Singleton-Jackson was found dead in the trunk of her car in Los Angeles CA. 4 days before, her husband had reported her missing. It would take nearly 2 decades before Marie's killer was brought to justice.
It was helpful to watch this story. There's now video uploaded to accompany the storytelling and it really helps paint a picture of what happened. We need to tell these stories and shed light on the disappearances of Black women and girls. They are largely overlooked by mainstream media, and often overlooked by law enforcement.
