Black History Makers
We are sharing this Black Historymakers episode from CBS in the US. The program provides information regarding an "expansive digital archive of first-person accounts."
At a time when we're having a national discussion about how Black history fits into the American mosaic, we discovered that many stories of Black achievement are slipping away ... going unpreserved for future generations. A nonpartisan, nonprofit organization called the HistoryMakers is hoping to change that, by creating an expansive digital archive of first-person accounts. As we first reported in February, founder Julieanna Richardson told us she's determined to document the Black experience in America, one story at a time.
