Dear Research Network, Colleagues and Friends,
We are excited to share funding opportunities via the Well Work, which we hope will provide significant support for many of you. Many independent scholars are using their skills in non-academic positions including entrepreneurship.
At The Well Work, the mission is to empower Black women and nonbinary founders by providing accessible pathways to funding and leadership development. Recognizing that financial stability is crucial for driving lasting impact, they are dedicated to providing tailored funding opportunities and resource support to those who come from vulnerable communities.
Recently, The Well Work proudly shares $170,000+ in grant funding available to Black, LGBTQ+, and women-owned businesses. These opportunities are diverse, spanning from small business grants to specific programs for marginalized founders, ensuring a wide reach to empower various sectors. We did not immediately locate current 2024 applications (except the Just Works Just Thrive Program which has a rolling deadline). However, the programs we are featuring had deadlines in May, June and July of 2024. We suggest you review their website and become familiar with their programs to see how you might work with them to achieve mutually beneficial goals. Let us know how you progress!
