Teaching While White - Ep. 18 "Brand New Pandemic, Same Old White Supremacy"
There are multiple ways to address racial inequity and multiple approaches which work well. One approach is to position White people to re-evaluate "Whiteness" as a privileged location within a racial hierarchy. There are men who are more open to re-evaluating misogyny when information is delivered by other men. There are also White people more likely to evaluate racism when the person speaking about it is White. With that in mind, we are sharing select episodes from the podcast, "Teaching While White." The education system is one of the primary places where we become conditioned to function and accept race as a primary part of identity formation.
